A Supernatural Glide

Have you ever watched deer in the wild? Their feet are quick and sure! To see these fleet-footed animals racing effortlessly across a field or meadow is a beautiful sight. When an obstacle gets in their way, they go right over the top of it. They leap high and gracefully glide through the air, landing easily on the other side.

When I face difficulties, I often think of Habakkuk 3:19 (NIV), “The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.”

Jesus said that we are in the world but not of the world. So don’t let troubles get you down! You can go right over the top of them as you rejoice in God!

God can make your feet like that of a deer. In other words, circumstances won’t hem you in. You can leap over problems. And you won’t run in your strength. God will enable you to run the race that is before you. As you yield to Him, He will cause you to step into blessings that you have never imagined.

However, you won’t walk in those blessings if you allow tests, trials, and circumstances to confine you. If you wring your hands in worry and doubt, your feet will not be like those of the deer, able to go to the high places.

When circumstances change for the worse, you can rejoice in the Lord, knowing that His Word has enough power in it to turn your situation around and raise you up. And as you thank and praise God and take hold of His strength, you will hurdle over the obstacles and land right in the middle of the blessings of God!

We’ve put together a great magazine that will help you to live victoriously. We want you to leap over every trial and live an abundant life. Be sure to share this magazine with someone who needs encouragement.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! I pray you will experience God’s peace, joy, and love as never before.

  1. Thankyou for this word of encouragement. It’s just what I need to read and put into practice at this moment in time.
