FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS, Lynette Hagin’s Kindle the Flame® Women’s Conference has brought women together on the Rhema USA campus to be refreshed, empowered, and equipped for their God-given callings.

This year’s anniversary event carried a strong sense of legacy, yet its tone was anything but reflective—the message was urgent: now is the time to rise. From the opening service to the final candlelight prayer, a consistent theme resonated: women are being trained and mobilized as an army of faith. Each speaker contributed a unique voice to that call, weaving together a tapestry of encouragement, correction, and bold direction for the days ahead.

THE CALL TO BALANCE AND FOCUS // LYNETTE HAGIN

“True balance isn’t perfection—it’s Spirit-led order. It’s letting God set the rhythm of your life. When He is at the center, every part falls into alignment. Balance is working hard but also resting. It’s giving out in ministry, but also taking time to be filled. It’s sitting at Jesus’ feet while still serving with Martha’s hands. Without balance, we burn out and miss God’s direction. With balance, we walk steady and strong.

We depend not on our ability, but on what God can do through us. Balance helps us know when to move or wait, to care for family and calling. Joy and laughter are medicine, not distractions.

Balance keeps us focused and full of His Spirit. When God is the hub, He holds everything together. There, strength and peace are found.”

POWER OF CONSISTENCY // DENISE HAGIN BURNS

Consistency is the mark of maturity. Passion fades, but steady faith builds strength that lasts. True growth comes layer by layer, like a pearl formed inside an oyster. Irritations and hardships are transformed when covered with prayer, love, and God’s Word. Over time, what once hurt becomes something beautiful.

Feelings are real, but make poor leaders. Consistency steadies us as emotions rise and fall. Daily faithfulness—praying, forgiving, standing in love—shapes our character and trust more than sporadic efforts.

This steady walk is also how we leave a legacy. Simple routines, repeated day after day, ripple into the future. Children, friends, and spiritual daughters watch and carry forward what they see. Pearls are treasured because they endure. In the same way, a consistent life becomes a legacy that shines long after we are gone.

“Whoever gets your mouth gets to move in your life. Don’t hand that power to fear or doubt. Is what you see greater than what He says? No, it’s not. What he says is greater. Every distraction, every problem is designed to steal your focus, but you can make the turn. Praise shifts your eyes from the storm back to the promise. Praise is how you grab your focus back from the problem and fix it on the answer. Speak what God says, not what you see, and watch His Word prevail in your life.”

// Rhonda Cloin

“God calls us to rise and shake off the chains of old identities. Don’t stay stuck in the dust of fear, shame, or discouragement. You are clothed in His righteousness and armed with His Word. There's no devil in hell that can stand against the power of God that lives on the inside of you, and all you have to do is yield and get out of His way. Stand in your place with confidence. Live out of Christ in you. I'm not speaking something to see it happen. I'm speaking something because it's true.”

// Afton Johnson

Memorable Moment

Saturday evening featured a touching moment as Lynette Hagin surprised her daughter, Denise, with a gift of her own wedding pearls—symbolizing how life's irritations, like grit in an oyster, can develop into something beautiful over time. It served as a meaningful reminder that ministry is both a legacy and a calling, built layer by layer with faith and perseverance.

Looking back over a quarter century of Kindle the Flame, it’s evident that this gathering is more than a yearly event. It is a movement—an army of women strengthened by the Spirit, united in prayer, and emboldened to influence their world for Christ.

As Lynette Hagin declared, “Now is the time to go into battle.” And the women of Kindle the Flame 2025 left ready to do exactly that.
