WE COULD WRITE a clever article about the new year and making a fresh start and relating it to a new life in Christ. But honestly, it’s all about Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. He died in agony in our place. He loved us more than He loved His own life. The Bible says, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 NKJV). Jesus’ love for us is amazing. But it does us no good until we accept Him as our Savior. To accept Jesus into your heart today, simply pray this prayer:

God,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 NIV). I declare that Jesus is my Lord. And I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Therefore, I am saved! Thank You!
