WHAT IS GOD waiting for in this hour? He is waiting for souls—for the precious fruit of the earth.
James 5:7 (NKJV) says, “Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.”
We are living in a season of the harvest of souls. But before we can have a harvest, we must have rain. So I encourage you, first of all, to pray for the rain of the Holy Spirit to bring in a
mighty harvest.
Deuteronomy 11:14 (NKJV) says, “I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.”
In other words God is saying, “I will give you rain so you may gather in the harvest.”
Next, to see a mighty harvest of souls, it’s important for us to pray for healings and miracles. We should not be satisfied until we see the power of God in full demonstration in this hour. We should not be content until we see the things we read about in the Bible happening today.
The Word says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). If He healed yesterday, He’ll heal today. If miracles were performed yesterday, we can expect miracles to be performed today.
My heart longs to see the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the blind see. I so desire to see people in wheelchairs walk out of those wheelchairs. And I’m desperate to see the things that occurred in the Early Church happen today. We need to pray for signs, wonders, and miracles to confirm God’s Word. Those are the things that will draw people to the Gospel.
We should not be satisfied until we see the power of God in full demonstration in this hour.
ARE YOU READY TO DRAW IN THE NET?
Are you ready to be a laborer—a witness for the Lord? We are here on the earth to carry the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ all over the world.
I encourage you today to rededicate your heart to get back to the Great Commission. I want that desire for souls to well up inside you. It’s my desire that you’ll wake up every morning and pray, “Lord, where can I be a witness for You today?”
I believe the fire of God will burn so strongly in your heart that you will go out and be a witness for Him in your world. I encourage you to pray, “God, give me a greater passion for souls.” And when you pray that prayer, He will grant the desire of your heart.
That is what will bring back the King—when we stir ourselves up to win souls and the whole world hears that Jesus Christ is Lord. I believe we’ve already stepped into the edge of that last great revival, but we must not stop. We must press in and stir ourselves up to pray.
In these dark days and perilous times, I’ve never been so excited in all my life. Why? Because we’re going to go out and be fishers of men. And we will not be able to catch them all with just one line. We’ll have to draw them in with a net!
Are you ready to do that? It only comes when God’s people pray because prayer is what fuels the fire. It’s prayer that ignites revival. And it’s continuing in prayer that will cause this revival to explode!
Are you willing to join me and be one of God’s channels to pray for this last great revival? Are you ready to enlist to pray for a mighty harvest of souls? I want to pray for you right now:
“I thank You, Father, that the fire of Pentecost is being reignited in us today. The message of faith is being reignited in our hearts. May there be a rejuvenation, a fresh enthusiasm, and a passion for souls in the hearts of Your people. I thank You that the passion we once had will return to us.
“Lord, give us a hunger for Your Word and a desire to draw closer to You. May we have a strong desire to know You more, to seek Your face, and to stir up that holy fire in our souls because we have a mighty work to do.”
There may be strongholds that have held you for so long. Perhaps they’ve kept you from getting closer to the heart of God. They keep pulling you back every time you try to move forward. I take authority over those things in the Name of Jesus. I believe those strongholds are broken. Just boldly proclaim, “I am free!”
There shall be a freedom in your life that you have not experienced before. You will walk in a light that you have not walked in before. You will see things in a different light, and the glory of God will be manifested in your life.
The fire that’s burning in your heart will soon begin to spread. It will spread to your neighbors, your city, your state, and your country. It will spread to every country on the earth.
When that same kind of fire is stirred up in believers around the world, Jesus will come back, and we will have that great Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Oh, what a celebration that will be!
As we each take our places as God’s messengers and proclaim the Gospel to every creature, the Father’s mighty plan will be accomplished on the earth!
