Felicia seems to have it all. She attended the best schools, earned a college degree, works a great job, and has plenty of money. Her friends vie for her attention. But there’s something they don’t know: Even when she’s with others, she feels lonely.

Bobby can relate to her even though he didn’t attend the best schools. In fact, he never finished high school. He works seven days a week at the lumber mill and earns a decent salary. His siblings adore him and drop by whenever they can. But nothing can fill the void left by his wife, who passed away recently.

Loneliness is an epidemic these days. No social class is exempt. If you feel an emptiness inside that no one can fill, God is your answer. He says in the Bible, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5, New International Version). He longs to be connected with you, and He is ever-present.

God, I come to You believing that You hear me and I won’t be turned away. I admit that I’m not right with You, and I want to be right with You. Please forgive me of my sins. The Bible says that if I confess with my mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in my heart that He rose from the dead, I will be saved (Romans 10:9). I believe in my heart that Jesus rose from the dead, and I confess Him as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and bringing me into Your family.
