Heart to Heart

// Kenneth W. Hagin

How badly do you want to live the extraordinary life God has for you? Often the difference between people who excel and those who don’t isn’t in their ability. The difference is in their level of desire.

When you are passionate about something, you will reach down on the inside and give out more effort than you ever thought you could. That’s what desire does. It pushes you beyond what you think you can do.

The key to receiving your desires is delighting yourself in the LordKenneth E. Hagin

All of us can accomplish and do more than we think we can. It’s a matter of how much we want something.

If your heart’s desire is to live above the ordinary, Psalm 37:4 (NIV 1984) shows you how to achieve what you want. “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

The key to receiving your desires is delighting yourself in the Lord. How do you do that? By seeking Him. By reading His Word. By praying. By learning to think His thoughts. By acting on His Word. When you delight yourself in Him, you are willing to say, “Lord, here are my desires. This is what I want to do. But I’m asking You to show me what to do and how to do it.”

If you’re ready to live on an exceptional level with God, this issue of The Word of Faith is the place to start. My article on page 4 gives you practical actions on how to step outside of your comfort zone and fulfill all of your dreams. My dad’s article on page 8 shares insights on how you can be a catalyst for the next move of God. After you’re done reading this magazine, be sure to pass it on to a friend so they can experience the goodness of God.
