How Big Is Your God?

When we read scripture, we see that God is so big, it’s mind-boggling! Not only did He create the universe but He also created you and me. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Although God is big, miraculous, and stupendous, He still knows when a sparrow falls from the sky (Matt. 10:29). He knows when a tear falls from our eyes and the number of hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7).

However, it’s one thing to believe God is big. It’s another thing to know firsthand that your God is big. The question to ask yourself is, “How big is my God?”

The truth is, in some areas God seems huge and in others small. The size of God and the size of our problems are determined by the way we view them. If we focus on our circumstances and choose to magnify the problem, it will grow bigger in our eyes. If we choose to magnify the Lord, we can triumph over any problem.

God cares about you! He left the palaces of Heaven to have a relationship with you. He has an open-door policy for all His children. You don’t have to go through a receptionist and two secretaries to get to your Heavenly Father. You can go straight to the Lord anytime you desire!

How big is your God? That depends on what you can believe for! If you can find a verse of scripture to stand on, He is big enough to bring it to pass. So don’t allow the problems and challenges of life to intimidate you. No person or problem is big enough or bad enough to cut you off from your God!

We’ve put together a great magazine especially for you this month. Over Easter, I encourage you to reflect on the vastness of your God and allow your faith to soar to a new level in Him.

Have a happy, blessed Resurrection Day!
