According as his divine power hath given unto us all
things that pertain unto life and godliness, through
the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and
virtue. — 2 PETER 1:3

The following is another word of instruction and exhortation that I received
from the Lord:

Healing and health, life and peace,
Joy and rest, all belong to the saints of God.

Defeat and failure, shortcomings, sickness, disease, and all that’s worse
Belong to Adam’s race, because of the Fall.

But remember that He [Jesus] came to redeem us all.

So rejoice and be glad and let your mouth do its duty.

Speak forth that which the Word has said
And be ready to believe all that you have read.

Yea, speak out that which the Word declares is yours,
And your faith will create the reality of the same in your heart, and life, and body too.

So you’ll have cause to rejoice and be glad while others are so sad.

Yea, you will be filled with joy and gladness and rejoicing and health and healing,
While others are filled with remorse and sadness, dominated by failure.

Because, you see, the light did shine, and they turned the light off.

But you opened your heart and said, “Light shine! Shine in, light! Shine upon my spirit, and I’ll rise and walk
in the light of life.

For the Lord has redeemed me and I walk above all strife.”
