Stay Open to God

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. — ROMANS 8:11

Don’t try to dictate to God the way in which you’ll receive healing. I’ve had the Lord say to me sometimes in the area of healing, “Now this is the only way you’re going to get it this time. And if you don’t get it this way, then you just won’t get it. You’ll do without it.” Well, I got lined up with Him in a hurry and got my healing.

We need to stay open to the Spirit of God and let Him guide us and direct us. We need to realize that the healing power of God is just as real today as it ever was. It didn’t cease to exist when Jesus died on the Cross. I’ve heard people say, “Yes, but Jesus was anointed with healing power.” But that healing power didn’t come from Him; it came from God.

Acts 10:38 says, “How GOD ANO INTED JESUS OF NAZARETH with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Also, the healing power of God didn’t cease to exist when Paul died. I’ve heard people say, “Yes, but Paul was an apostle.” Look at Acts 19:11 again. It doesn’t tell you what Paul did. It tells you what God did. “And GOD wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul.” God is not dead. The healing power of God is just as real today as it ever was.

Confession: Healing power comes from God. I follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in receiving my healing from God. However God wants to heal me is fine with me. As I follow His direction, my mortal body is quickened with healing power.
