And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. — ISAIAH 10:27

One time while I was preaching in east Texas in one of the Assembly of God churches, the pastor said to me, “Brother Hagin, do you remember my son?”

I said, “Yes, I remember.”

He continued, “He’s away at college now. He goes to Texas Tech in Lubbock. You know, ever since he was twelve years of age, he has had asthma and related respiratory conditions. I’ve prayed and fasted. Many people have laid hands on him and prayed for him. Well, he just called us. He’s had another terrible attack.”

The pastor said, “Here’s one of his handkerchiefs. I want you to lay hands on it, and I’ll send it to him.” So I laid hands on it, and he sent it to him.

Several years later, I was preaching a meeting for that same pastor. His son was out of college and in the business world by this time. He was a great success. The pastor said, “Brother Hagin, he’s never had another attack of asthma from the time that handkerchief touched him.”

There had to be some connection. From the time this boy was little, he’d had this condition. But it disappeared instantly. There was a connection. It’s the anointing of God’s Spirit!

Confession: The yoke is destroyed because of the anointing. Any yokes in my life are destroyed because of the anointing of God.
