For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. — JOHN 6:38

Throughout His ministry, Jesus delivered those who were oppressed by Satan. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Who was it that Jesus healed? He healed all. Where did their sickness come from? It was the oppression of the devil.

Matthew 8:16 and 17 says, “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

Mark 1:32–34 says, “And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. And all the city was gathered together at the door. And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.”

Jesus was the will of God revealed to man. And He revealed that it was God’s will to break the power of sickness and disease over man’s body and to set him free from pain and suffering. Christ’s ministry proclaimed healing and blessing to the physical side of man’s nature as well as to the spiritual side.

Confession: Jesus is the will of God revealed to man. Jesus healed all those who were oppressed by the devil. Therefore, it is God’s will that I be healed, whole, and well.
