Saved Through Faith!

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. — EPHESIANS 2:8

Notice that the faith you are saved by is “not of yourselves.” In other words, it’s not a natural, human faith. It’s the gift of God! That agrees with Romans 12:3, which states that “. . . God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Yet Christians will say, “I just don’t have any faith.”

I always answer by saying, “Then why don’t you get saved? Saved people have faith! You can’t be saved without faith.”

All believers have faith. The Bible says they do! But many Christians don’t realize they do — and they’re not using the faith they have. By continually talking about how they don’t have faith, they “take sides” against God, against the Bible, and against themselves, without recognizing what they are doing.

God’s Word is God speaking. God and His Word are one: If God’s Word says something, that is God saying it. And God’s Word says that God has dealt to you the measure of faith. It has to be the God-kind of faith — because that’s the only kind of faith God has!

Confession: I am saved! And I was saved by grace through faith — the gift of God! I have a measure of the God-kind of faith! I have a measure of the kind of faith which created the world in the beginning! I have a measure of mountain-moving faith!
