Analogy

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. — COLOSSIANS 1:18

Here’s where we believers have missed it! We’ve recognized that Jesus is the Head of the Church, and we’ve exalted Him to His position of Power, all right. But we’ve failed to see that the Head is wholly dependent upon its body for carrying out its plans. We’ve failed to see that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We’ve failed to see that Jesus has authority over Satan’s power. If this authority is ever exercised, it will have to be exercised through the Body. We’ve been so sure that we couldn’t do anything, that we’ve left everything up to Christ the Head of the Church — and the Head is powerless without the Body.

Take your own physical head as an example. It is powerless to carry out any of its plans without the cooperation of the body. Your head might see a songbook on a rack in front of you, but unless your body cooperates, your head will never be able to sing from that book.

The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. And we — the Body of Christ — have the same authority the Head has!

Confession: The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. I am a member of the Body, and I will exercise my authority!

  2. What a word! The same is true for governance and political issues. We believers have become so uninterested in it, assuming that God is in control! How can God be in control? The majority of us are hardly involve and most of the few of us believers that are into governance and politic have not truly ask God into it! Let’s remember that John Wesley said that, God will do nothing for humanity unless somebody ask Him! Its time for the church to rise up in governance and politics. Not for a season, but forever till Jesus comes. We must not only pray, we must take action by voting base on scriptures, going in to occupy political offices and allowing our biblical values to control our actions and inactions ect. If we get involve scripturally God will most definitely be in control! There are many scriptures to back this but I just write a few. Proverb 29:2, 2Samuel 23:2-4, Job 34:30, Psalm 75:4-7 ect. According to 1John 3:8b, the Son of God, who is our Lord Jesus Christ, was manifested for the purpose of destroying the works of the devildevil. And I strongly believe this includes the works of the devil in governance and politics! So , my christian brothers and sisters let’s get involve in every scriptural way! I bless God for the life of our grandpa Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory, in Jesus precious NameName, amen and amen!
